Gonzales – Knight Moves (Lone remix)
Manchester’s R&S wildcard Lone, birthed Matt Cutler, has formulated each production between vintage 90′s samplers and contemporary workstations. His most recent work comes way of Chilly Gonzales’ single release for “Knight Move,” an original taken from the Ivory Tower full length combined with an additional edits from Dj Koze and Chilly himself. Cutler’s remix builds around the original’s reverberating key stabs, layering percussive bells upon arpeggiating synths and filtered rhodes. The remix completely washes over me like some sort of slow wave slumber. Out now on BNR.
